Life is not always fair,
It will have its ups and downs,
And the good times and the bad.

Life can be exciting and filled with joy,
Or life can be hard and filled with fright.

Life can be filled with many feelings,
The feelings could be confusing at times,
And at other times be clear.

Life will include many decisions,
And some will be major,
But most will be minor.

The decisions made during your life
Will take you down many paths.

The pathway of life you choose to take,
Will determine whether
Or not you will have
A good or bad life.

The decisions you make will
Carve your future and
The decisions you make can
Either help you or hurt you.

Sometimes what does not seem right today leads to something tomorrow that we are thankful for. I can’t even count the times that I’ve been so glad things didn’t go the way I “thought” I wanted. So, in a way, I’m glad life is not fair.

“Life is a compromise of what your ego wants to do, what experience tells you to do, and what your nerves let you do.” — Bruce Crampton

When angels fall from up above
They are destined to be at my side
And when someone’s putting me down
They are the one who never left me behind

True friends do really exists. They are there when you need them the most. I considered them as my angels because they always protect me from anything that will hurt my feelings. They made me laugh when it’s so difficult for me to smile. I may not show that I appreciate them so much but deep inside it’s so heartwarming to know that they are always around. So many crazy moments that I’ve shared with them and that’s priceless that no money can buy, they always bring out the best in me. But sad to say there are only few who remains so very true to me. I may not fit to be their friend but some are judging me for what I’m showing to them. I know they are talking behind my back and I don’t really care at all but It’s just sad to think that those people whom I’ve given my trust are the one who is betraying me silently.
The most important thing is, I have a lot of dear friends around and that’s what I am trying to spend my time with. Because they accept me by heart despite my imperfections and mood swings most of the time. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU guys.

Even though distance makes us apart
It’s our bond that keeps us together
Thank you to you my friend
For not leaving me until the end

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will
When the road you’re taking seems all uphill
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile but you have to sigh
When life is pressing you down a bit
Rest! If you must but never quit

Life is stronger, with its twists and turns
As every one of us sometimes learns
And many failures have won if had struck it out
Stick to your tasks, though the progress seems so slow
You may succeed with one more below

Success is failure turned inside out
The silver of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are
It may be near, when it seems afar
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit
It’s when things seems worst that you mustn’t quit.

In seeking peace and understanding with our neighbors throughout the world, an important factor is an understanding of their other basic philosophies and ideals. These are the deepest things in their lives, the strongest feelings and highest aspirations, things that make them what they are.

A study of the great religions of the world is valuable preparation for a real citizen of today and tomorrow if we are to work and get along together as friends. This study brings us close to people as nothing else can do. They taught respect for parents, respect for every man’s right as well as one’s own. They also taught the highest, not the lowest as the true path of life and development.

Modern business executives are
putting them to work in dozens successful business enterprise. For today we hear industrialists and labor leaders declaring these same principles taught by the great masters of religions as the only way out of our present problems, the way to peace and security to all. The most important facts for everyone of us to learn as early as possible is that these truths taught us to learn as early as possible is that these truths taught by our religions not something to be listened occasionally in church for an hour, then forgotten. They are the laws of life to be obeyed everyday and every hour of our lives.

If people of all countries can become aware of this and build their lives accordingly, the youth of today may live to the peace on earth and a truly wonderful life.

Man is happier for having a home he can call his own, a haven for his tired soul, and his refuge against the world’s cruelty. Mention HOME and you get a picture of a happy family because the members feel secure and protected.
Every individual is distinct in his characteristics. For this reason, many social problems arise. Sometimes the problem of personal welfare of an individual runs to those of the rest of the family as a group.

A home is an indispensable fact of bringing the children properly because it cradles the affection for the members of the family, especially the growing children. A home is likewise needed for the protection of the members of a family in order that they may live together permanently. It is made unique by certain distinguishing characteristics. Among them are mutual love, cooperation and ambition. Companionship, friendliness, sociability, respect and of course love prevails in the development of a home.
To make life pleasant and home attractive, there is a need for educating its members. A couple should realize that as the years go by, their family will grow in number and the means of livelihood of its members must be provided for by the father and the mother. Mutual respect for one another and understanding the likes and dislikes of the members promote harmony in the home.
Economic cooperation is very necessary in the life of a family. It is the duty of the father to provide the means of support for the members; the mother must look after the housekeeping and care of the children. Even young children are assigned duties suitable to their physical condition and ages. It was also a responsibility of the family not only to provide permanent home for the young members but also to give them recreational facilities.
We can clearly see, therefore, that the biological, economic and social factors are necessary in the organization of a family.

As I watch the sun about to set across the horizon, It always amazes me the fact that sunset is more beautiful that sunrise. In that particular moment, I couldn’t help but savor the memories of my college life.

It’s like it’s was just yesterday when I entered in these institution. Time really runs so fast. Back then, I was so afraid to enter the class because I have no friends at all. I have to adjust to the new environment I am involved in. My first week was a disaster, I feel like crying and homesick but little by little, I have learned to embrace those changes with the help of my new found friends.

In these school, I’ve known what I really wanted to do Because at first I don’t even know my priorities in life but now I loved it with all my heart. Here I build my dreams and now I’m close to it.

There are a lot of memories worth reminiscing, funny and nonsense as it may seem but it was one of the happenings in my life that I will never ever forget. Truly, college life is so stressful, challenging and made you miserable sometimes but through my achievements, it was the most fulfilling I’ve ever done so far. I don’t have so much social life, my friends sometimes called me a killjoy but what can I do, what may look as important for them to do is opposite to mine. What I appreciate moat is those people that I met here. The teachers, schoolmates, classmates and friends whose be part of my evolution to be more mature, responsible and productive individual.

The world might have been dark where I’m sad and the sun might have set across the horizon…but I know that I will be seeing another light again tomorrow. And I will always paint a smile on my face every morning for my college life was the best and I’m proud of it.

As we get older, there comes a realization that, how did we get here in these stage of our lives despite of so many difficulties that pass and is continuing to screw up the present. It’s the reality of life, to face all those differences with positiveness in mind, clean heart and most importantly, having faith in God that never questions.

In my life, I played as a daughter, sister, a friend and a student. Each role that I portrayed is accompanied by so many struggles. Whatever my family is going through, as a daughter and sister it is also my burden. But having each one of us besides each other, there will be no storm that we cannot pass. Friends are said to be always there no matter what. In my own group of friends, I experienced so many heartbreaks, it is inevitable that there are some personal issues that make my friendship to them on the rocks but at the end of the day, it is those who truly love and understands me that brought us together again.
Being a student, is one of the most difficult yet fulfilling experience to me. It’s my way of paying for my parents struggles to send me to school that’s why I want to do best in everything. I spent half of my life in school, and it was never that easy. I got so many disappointments and failures and it really bothers me all the time but when I think those people who are dear to me, it takes away all the ill feelings in my heart.
Right now, I’m kind of different in handling things on my own because of what has life taught me. It is rising very time we fall and I always bar in mind that quitting is never an option. Through life’s game, it is my determination and faith in God that made me win in this battle for survival. It’s what makes my life exciting and challenging yet it makes me feel so complete.
